Operating since 1980, Carmel United serves families in the Carmel Central School District as an independent nonprofit rather than a school or town program. Its recreational side takes players from age 3 through 13, while travel teams run from age 8 up through high school. Travel play is in the Hudson Valley Youth Soccer League.
